Right — have been messing about with this thing for about five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. Am based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, small stakes, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I could never work out what an ew payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d eyeball it and moan when the payout landed. These days I stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the part I open most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return straight away, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where I’d always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at super yankee bet calculator — free, no signup.

What actually changed how I bet is the more serious bits. The implied probability thing and it makes obvious the overround, plus a kelly tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is decent if I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. Its interface feels pretty plain — zero frills, it’s clearly function over form. On my phone it’s usable although the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — fine by me but you asked.

Right, that’s me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who even now does the maths on paper, try it — saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.
